6AM
We are up early, looking to watch the Olympics on the TV for awhile.
Outside, it looks pretty stormy! Wow! It is August and it is stormy
looking. It's hard to get used to that, being that we are from California.

10AM
We are moving out in a short while, heading south toward Crater Lake National
Park. The Team talked it over, and we decided that if something looks neat,
that we would stop along the way and explore instead traveling all the 80 miles
to reach Crater Lake today.

Below is a pic of our Camp, with George looking up at the rain. Do you see the
rain drops that fell on Mr. Mavica's lens? They look like smudges, but they are
really rain drops!

2PM
The Team is about 44 miles from Crater Lake, and we think that we are going
to make a run for the lake!

6PM
We are camped in Mazama Campground, booked for two nites! We drove past Crater
Lake and could not see the water because of the clouds!!

Here is a pic of our campground site! Can you see the rain coming down!!

TiogaRV Team Mission
To share the vagabonding life with our fellow RVers like yourself. We hope that you will try to boondock and dry camp. We have found great joy in camping away from the RV Campground. We would like you to try our camping life style yourself. Sharing with you our Daily Adventure is our way of encouraging you to try to camp as we do.
