2AM - Last Day In Santa Rosalia! Wow! It is hard to go to bed this nite. Why? It is our last day in Santa Rosalia. After Martin finishes the mural today, we must continue north.
You know something? Connections with people are very strong here in the Town of Santa Rosalia. The pull to stay, and the need to continue north tear hard, and bring such mixed feelings to the surface. George walked outside of MsTioga into the nite. It is quiet. The stars are out so clear. We thank God for letting us be part of this wonderful Town of Santa Rosalia. And, we are so thankful for the friends that we have made here.
Going up the hill, south of Santa Rosalia. Early in the morning, George, Mr. Mavica and TriPod will walk up the hill south of town. Remember that we found the way up this hill during our trip with Jose the taxi driver. This walk will be our last exploration in Santa Rosalia. From this hill, we will look over the Sea of Cortez to the east. We hope to see the Sun rise over our last day in Santa Rosalia.
6AM - Mr. Mavica, TriPod and George go up the hill. Wow! This hill is harder climb than we thought. Here is a pic looking back at central Santa Rosalia while it was still nite.

Looking up the Santa Rosalia valley before dawn.
Much further to a view over the harbor than we thought! Finally, after going up another steep hill, we finally came to an overlook of Santa Rosalia's lovely harbor on the south hill.

Before dawn, Santa Rosalia town and harbor.

Sunrises on our last day in Santa Rosalia!
Wow! George still thinks he is a spring chicken! By the time we got back close to our camp, George's feet were giving out. He is not a spring chicken anymore!
10AM to 3PM Tioga and George website down! Somthing happened, we do not know what. Our website went down around 10AM. It just came back a little before 3PM. Wow!
Tiro Williams Mine! Wow! It is amazing to watch the mural take shape. The "Tiro Williams Mine" is the subject of the mural. Here are two pics showing the mine coming to life in our mural!

The top of the mine shaft tower!

The tower really taking shape!
Santa Rosalia Mural - Tito Williams Mine complete!! It is late in the afternoon, and Martin has completed our mural! What do you think of it? Hmmmmm?

The mural complete!
Below is the artist, Martin Real de la Toba with his finished art!

Martin and the Tiro Williams mural!
We are not leaving Santa Rosalia today! We had planned on heading north today. Martin did not finish the mural until almost 5PM. Also, Chicho wants to drive George and Mr. Mavica to see the Tiro Williams mine, early tomorrow morning! Wow!
The Team is going to just take it easy, and drive north a few weeks later than our plan. We do not really have a schedule to meet anyway, right?
