7AM - Another gorgeous day!
Everyday here in the Pueblo of Santa Rosalia seems to be a gorgeous day! This morning it is 58°F, and just a bit of high clouds and no wind.

All of our Team Members are doing great!
Everybody on The Team is doing great. Mr. Datastorm gets on the internet with no problems. MsTioga is doing fine. Everyday we work on cleaning MsTioga's exterior a bit, and she is looking really good.

Getting fresh water.
Yesterday at the far end of the street where we are Camped, we noticed that the gardener from the Hotel Frances was watering the plants. We asked him if we could have some of the water to fill MsTioga's fresh water tank, and he said, "Yes!." So MsTioga drove down the street and now we have a filled up fresh water tank.

We returned to our Camp, leveled out, and Mr. Datastorm went back up and found his space station uplink. Wow! It is certainly fantastic when everything works just as it is supposed to. And, it is so great that the people that we meet here in the Pueblo of Santa Rosalia are so kind.

Mr. Sunny's new equipment.
Mr. Sunny wanted you to know that his new Solar Boost 50 Battery Charge Controller and also the new TriMetric Battery Monitor are working excellently. It is so good to be able to write to you that things are running right!!

The TriMetric reports the percentage of battery power that is available from Mr. Sunny's battery bank. When the battery bank reaches full charge, the meter reads 100%. After sundown, the percent descends slowly as we consume electricity. Right now before the sun hits the solar panels, the meter is reading 85%. Very interesting and convenient to know.

The digital display glows in a red color, instead of black as the old display. During the nite we look at the display often, because it can be read in the dark!!

1PM - Hauling drinking water.
Everybody in the Pueblo of Santa Rosalia drinks purified water. Nobody drinks from the pueblo water supply, which is used only for washing, cleaning, the bathroom, and watering plants.

Some people buy their water from delivery men, who truck the water to homes in 5 gallon plastic bottles. Some people go to the purified water plant in town, and buy how many 5 gallon bottles they need and carry or drive their drinking water home.

We on The Team do not have room for a 5 gallon bottle. Our drinking water is kept in two 7.5 liter plastic bottles with a dispenser valve. Today we went down to the purified water plant and filled one of our 7.5 liter bottles and hauled it up the hill to MsTioga. The cost to fill our bottle was $3 pesos (30 cents US).

8:30PM - Going to town on Saturday nite!
There is a little store that sells juice and ice cream. I love the strawberry ice cream. It is sooooooo good. I am able to eat my ice cream while enjoying the sight of a zillion cruising cars going by. It is the custom to cruise the Pueblo of Santa Rosalia on Friday and Saturday nites. Love it!

9:30PM - A wedding fiesta!
Next to our Camp is a community hall which may be rented for events. During the afternoon, I had seen preparations being made inside the hall. A band truck was parked and I could see men setting up sound equipment inside. When I went into town for ice cream, there was a wedding in progress at the Santa Barbara church. I stood in the open church door and watched a bit of the wedding. When I returned to MsTioga, I found that the people from that wedding were now here at the community hall.

Soon, music began. Wonderful Mexican dancing music. Wow! The party gathered steam. I stood in the street and could see into the hall door. People were dancing and eating and having a great time.

1:30AM - Sunday morning and the party is still going!
I went to sleep. Even with all the music going on, I stayed asleep for a long time. When I woke up, it was after 1AM and the party was still going strong. The music was loud, and the people were still having a grand time.

I love fiestas! The Mexican music is so joyous. It makes me feel good just to hear it played.
