9AM - Breakfast along the Sea of Cortez.
At a Team Meeting this morning, MsTioga reminded us that she is getting low on propane and that the weekend is coming up. We might be able to do with our propane until next Monday, but we decided to take a small trip of a few miles north to fill up. After we get the propane, we will go to a dump station in an RV Campground south of Santa Rosalia.

We decided to move to a Breakfast Camp along the Sea of Cortez. We love to be close to the water! As you may see in the pic below, it is a wonderfully sunny day, and the rain of yesterday has vanished.

9:30AM - MsTioga's mural.
MsTioga's mural of the Tiro Williams mine shaft is somewhat well known here in the Pueblo of Santa Rosalia. Just a few minutes ago, Dago Real whose brother Martin painted our mural, walked by with some friends to look at the painting. It is amazing how many people drop by MsTioga to say "hi", even here in Mexico.

Expecting a friend.
On Thursday or Friday, we are expecting a friend to pay us a visit here in Santa Rosalia. Do you remember Michel the photographer, whom we met at Rancho Boca del Salado near the Cabos? That was last winter.

Michel became so impressed with MsTioga and The Team, that he decided to become a vagabond himself. Michel bought himself a brand new Lazy Daze RV, which will be delivered in February. Michel is visiting the Lazy Daze factory today. Tomorrow he will catch a bus that goes south from Tijuana and should arrive in Santa Rosalia tomorrow also.

This is a wonderful success story of our Team Mission, which is to encourage RVers to adopt the vagabonding lifestyle. Wow! We are sooooo happy about all of this!

11AM - MsTioga can fly!
On the way back from filling up on propane, MsTioga spotted what looked like an airstrip just off of Hwy No1, so we stopped to take a peek. MsTioga looked at the airstrip and told the rest of us amazed Team Members, that she thought she could take off from this tiny airstrip. "It'll be tight, but I can do it!" Well you may be sure that we never heard of MsTioga being able to fly. But MsTioga was confident, so we drove onto the airstrip.

Mr. Mavica took the pics below from the air. They are all thumbnails, so you may click on them. The first pic on the left shows MsTioga thinking about taking off from the tiny airstrip. The middle pic shows the airstrip from up in the air. The right pic shows a mine near the airfield, that we did not even know was there.

Wow! Is there anything that the Mighty MsTioga cannot do?!

12 Noon- Tiro Williams Mine.
As we were headed south past Santa Rosalia, Mr. Mavica shouted out, "There's the Tiro Williams Mine! Pull over MsTioga, I want to take a pic." So we stopped. You remember that the TiroWilliams Mine is the subject of our famous mural.

12:30PM - San Lucas RV Park.
This park has the dump station where we are going to empty MsTioga's black water tank. Do you remember that this is the nice RV Park that our friend John drove us to see a few days ago? In the thumbnail pics below, Mr. Mavica shows us at the dump station and also took a pic of the RV Park's sign.

1PM - At the Pemex.
We stopped at the Pemex to get some gasoline. It has been cloudy lately, and Mr. Onan has had to work in order to help Mr. Sunny charge the battery bank. Mr. Onan runs out of gas when MsTioga's tank gets to 1/4 full. This 1/4 tank thing is protection so that Mr. Onan will not use up every drop of gas. If we did not have this protection, MsTioga might get stuck.

TiogaRV Team Mission
To share the vagabonding life with our fellow RVers like yourself. We hope that you will try to boondock and dry camp. We have found great joy in camping away from the RV Campground. We would like you to try our camping life style yourself. Sharing with you our Daily Adventure is our way of encouraging you to try to camp as we do.
