4:30AM - The light in Alty's kitchen. Alty is up at 4AM, and she turns on the light in her kitchen. This morning the light was not on, and I became worried thinking, "Wow! That's strange?!" It took me a few seconds to realize that I was not at Hill Camp this morning. Hmmmm?
I miss being at Hill Camp.
8AM - Heading south. As we leaving last nite's Camp, everybody kept their eyes open looking for a baby Saguarito cactus. Guess what?! We found two Saguaritos growing under the protection of some other plants. They are soooooo small.

10AM - Visiting with fellow Datastormers. You may have noticed that Datastormer Number 13 is near us on the map. We stopped at Requison Beach and met No. 13. They are Jim, Myrna and their doggie Buddy who are from the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.
Requison Beach is a very popular place. The RVs alongside the water were mostly parked very close to each in order to fit in. Jim and Myrna's RV is extremely electronically enabled with solar power, wind power and tons of other electronic equipment on the roof.
12 Noon - Day Camped at the foot of Concepcion Bay. The Team has made a Day Camp here in order to eat breakfast. Our Camp is in a large flat desert area. The bay is visible from the window, about a mile away.
3:00PM - MsTioga's shock story. Hi Everybody! This is MsTioga typing at you. This is the story of my shock absorbers. Do you want to hear about this story? You do?! OK!
Back last September when I was at my homebase, we went to Jose's Auto Service. My shocks are not as big as they should be, and we asked Jose to put on bigger shocks. My complaint was that when going over irregular surfaces, I would rock and sway excessively.
Our old shocks were Bilstein's, and in very good shape. Jose replaced our Bilstein shocks, with Monroe's. However, when we went for a test drive, I still rocked and swayed as before. We told Jose that these shocks seemed the same as the old shocks, no improvement. Jose told us that these were the largest shocks available for my Ford chassis.
Instead of asking Jose to put our Bilstein's back on, because he did not put on larger shocks as we asked him to do, we just let it slide. Lately we have been hearing squeeks from my left front shock, and George went under today to take a peek. We were shocked to find that this shock absorber's nuts and rubber mounts were all missing. The rod was bent into an "L" shape, and wedged into the frame.
We decided to drive into the Pueblo of Loreto and find a good auto mechanic to fix this shock.
4:30PM - Felix the mechanic. We are now in the Pueblo of Loreto, and went to a fresh water store and asked the man inside if he would recommend a mechanic. He asked, "Do you want a good mechanic?" Of course our answer was, "Yes!" He pointed up the street to a shop, and told us to talk to Felix the mechanic.
Felix's shop is very well equipped, and the moment we looked around in there we felt that this was a good place. Felix took a peek at MsTioga's messed up shock, and said that he could cut off the damaged rod end, weld a new rod end on, and it would work great. Sounds good to us.
We made a date to return in the morning at 7:30AM.
5PM - Nite Camped in the Pueblo of Loreto. We found a very wide place in the road in a residential/commercial part of Loreto. This place looks like a good Nite Camp.
Our Nite Camp in the Pueblo de Loreto.
Health and Doctors. Dear reader friends. I've had many emails from you over time, wondering about my medical plan. Questions about my health insurance. Stuff like that. My thoughts about medicine, doctors, routine exams are extremely outside of the realm of the commonly accepted.
Today I published my thoughts about this subject. My thinking is extremely radical. Give it a chance before you judge, OK? Health, foods, diet, exercise and all that stuff.
