7:30AM - MsTioga with Felix the Mechanic. MsTioga really likes Felix the Mechanic. He is fast, and knows what he is doing. Felix is nice too, and let us sharpen some drills on his bench grinder.
First Felix cut off the bent shock's rod, and welded on a new rod. He did this in less than five minutes! Felix said that the mechanic who installed the shock, had difficulty because there is not enough clearance for a wrench. Probably that mechanic did not tighten the shock's nuts enough. Felix used a pry bar to move the speedometer cable to gain clearance for his wrench.
Felix charged only $15US for this repair job. I was a little embarrassed to pay only $15, but Felix seemed very happy with that price. It is hard to get used to prices here in Mexico. I have been here for over two months this winter, and I still do not understand prices very well.

9AM - Breakfast Camped south of Loreto. On the way south out of Loreto, MsTioga stopped at the CaliGas to fill her propane tank. We also stopped at a liquor store and were given permission to fill MsTioga's fresh water tank. We gave the lady in the store $10 pesos for helping us with the water.
We have made a Breakfast Camp on some private property, below La Sierra de la Giganta, which you may see in the pic below. One of the people on this property gave us permission to park here.
We like the look of Giganta's mountains.
2PM - Nite Camped on the beach near Ligui. This is another gorgeous Camp. MsTioga is only about 100 meters from the water. There is a couple from Germany camped a short distance away. This couple trades used clothing for seashells with the people who live in the tiny Pueblo of Ligui. Very interesting to see the bartering going on for these trades!
Islands very close to our shore give depth to this lovely place.
Mr. Datastorm having problems. Mr. Datastorm is having difficulty passing tests to go online. The DirecWay company which provides the satellite service has not been much help. DirecWay requires five customers to report a similar problem within a 24 hour period. Since many customers do not report, just live with problems, Mr. Datastorm's service has been difficult for quite awhile.
Mr. Datastorm says that he will continue to report everyday that he has problems. Hopefully, Motosat and DirecWay may eventually take our problems worthy of their consideration.
