7:30AM - Sounds of San Carlos. It is Monday, and weekday sounds are all around. Across the street from Javier's home is secondary school. A loud speaker with a student's voice is calling out about things going on today at school. The students are now singing a song, which also comes thru the speakers. May be a school song?
Other students going to other schools are walking past Javier's home. They are dressed in a uniform. Boys and girls have white shirts, boys wear blue jeans and girls have a blue skirt.
Team Meeting. MsTioga called a Team Meeting this morning, and pointed out that we should be moving south again. Our plan is to head toward Puento Boca del Salado and the rancho of the Gonzalez family. It will take MsTioga maybe five days to reach the rancho. Remember that we Camped on the rancho of the Gonzalez family last year? That was during the month of January, 2005.
We may leave our San Carlos Camp at the home of Javier sometime during the afternoon.
9AM - Javier going to Ciudad Constitucion. Javier drove his pickup over beside MsTioga. He told me that he is going to Ciudad Constitucion this morning, and invited me to go with him. So, Mr. Mavica and I are driving to Ciudad Constitucion with Javier!!
It did not take long to arrive at Ciudad Constitucion, because Javier drives very fast.
Going to the bank. The first place that we went was to Banemex, which is the bank that Javier uses.
As we entered Banemex, a guard handed us a turn number from a machine. A large counter on the wall over the teller cages shows the present number and which teller to go to. We sat in chairs to wait our turn.
Do you see the number sign over the teller cages?
El Super Mercado Peralta! Next we went to the Super Mercado Peralta. This super market is very small, but in the Ciudad Constitucion most markets are very small. Javier shopped for many things for his five fishing boats. Everything from toilet paper to noodles. We spent about two hours shopping. The things that Javier bought filled up the back of the pickup truck.
1:30PM - Puerto San Carlos. We drove back to San Carlos with the load of groceries for the five fishing boats. First we went to the harbor, so that Javier could check up on his boats. Then we drove back to the house and unloaded the groceries into Javier's warehouse. Supplies for the fishing boats are distributed from this warehouse. Grandson Hugo who had come home from school, helped put the groceries into the warehouse.

5PM - Leaving San Carlos in the morning. MsTioga and The Team decided to leave the Puerto de San Carlos in the morning. It is a bit too late in the day to head out now.
Just a few minutes ago, Hugo came over with a care package. It was a plate of small tortas made from the meat of the caldo that Carolina (Hugo's grandma) prepared yesterday. Wow! All five of these tortas disappeared in an instant! They are sooooo good.
