6AM - Mr. Sunny's battery bank maintenance. Mr. Sunny, The Team's noble solar electric system likes to have his battery bank checked every 4-6 weeks. The top of each battery is cleaned. The electrolyte in each cell is raised to the bottom of the filler tube with distilled water. All battery cable connections are checked to make sure that the nuts are tight.
Mr. Sunny keeps a record of all work done in MsTioga's Maintenance Log. This Log is very important, because The Team does not want to depend on Old Jorge's memory!
Mr. Sunny's battery bank, looking good!
Day No. 3 of the LD Office Project. You may remember that Michel is building an office in his new Lazy Daze RV. Michel calls his Lazy Daze, LD. So we call it LD too. Chuy, who is a very experienced carpenter has a shop nearby Hill Camp. Chuy is building the office. Each day for the past three days, Chuy comes in the morning with his grandson Javier and installs cabinet parts into LD that have been fabricated the previous day.
9AM - Chuy and Javier arrive. Chuy and his grandson Javier drive up in their 1971 Toyota truck. With them they bring cabinet parts for the rear of the office. The frame for the cabinet which will contain the two drawers, is fitted in place. The table tops which are sawed a bit large in the shop, are cut to size outside near the water tanks. Everything with the project is going sooooo well !!
