8AM - Playing with sound. This morning we are messing around with BlogJet's ability to post sound to our blog. Nobody on The Team understands this thing, not even the brilliant Mr. Chips. So, we are making this blog post to see what happens, OK? George talks to you!
10AM - Javier begins finishing. For cabinetmakers, finishing usually means sanding, staining and clear coating. The color of the desktop is close to the color of the other cabinets and walls of Michel's Lazy Daze. Staining will not be necessary, only clear coating.
Javier begins the first of perhaps three clear coats.
Questions for our friend Michel. Several dozen questions have come about Michel's photography work, his new office and his Lazy Daze RV. I asked Michel if he would like to receive email directly from our readers?
Yes, of course! I love to receive email, was Michel's reply. So if you would like to write to Michel, here is a link to send him email: Email to Michel.
Machaca and eggs for breakfast. Sabena the lady who works at Lavanderia Amalia told me that the machaca sold by Carneceria Delia (butcher) was out of this world. I have never eaten machaca before, so went to Delia's to buy some.
Have you ever eaten machaca? Meat is first marinated, then cooked, shredded and dried. Machaca looks very fine threads of beef.
I sauteed white onions, added chopped tomatoes and a little chopped celantro. Then threw in some machaca. Nothing was measured, just eyeballed. Next came the scrambled eggs with garlic.
Machaca with eggs is good. It will be part of my things to make for breakfast from now on. Sorry, no pic! Too late, breakfast is gone.
3PM - The Garden. This will be our last full week at Hill Camp. Soon, The Team will be heading north again, searching for Adventure. We do not know what will become of The Garden in the six months while we are away. MsTioga suspects that the cactus will make it thru the heat of summer.

TiogaRV Team Mission
To share the vagabonding life with our fellow RVers like yourself. We hope that you will try to boondock and dry camp.
We have found great joy in camping away from the RV Campground. We would like you to try our camping life style yourself.
Sharing with you our Daily Adventure is our way of encouraging you to try to camp as we do.
