8AM - The LD Office Project continues, Day Number Two. Chuy and his grandson Javier arrive. In the back of their Toyota truck are materials for the Lazy Daze (LD) Office Project. First they installed two frames on each side of the office. These frames will support the desktop, and form the cabinet below. Then came cutting the desktop for access doors to the storage space below.

1PM - Lunch, dessert and shopping. Michel and I went down to have fish lunch at Terco's Pollito, and afterwards enjoyed an ice cream at 'Jugos y Nieves', the store owned by my friend Manuel Villalobos. Michel then bought an electric power strip for the new Lazy Daze office at Grupo Ayala Electrico.

Cornelius the miner. As we were walking up the little path that winds between the houses to Hill Camp, we met Cornelius. This fellow is a very friendly man who worked for years in the Tiro Williams mine which is the subject of the mural on the side of MsTioga. Cornelius was in the mines in 1945, very near to the time this mine closed. Sometime later, he worked for about 11 years in a factory located in Sacramento, California.
Cornelius talked about finding 'quadritos', the elusive mineral that we searched for in vain many times at the Amelia Mine in Arroyo Soledad.

5PM - Victor earns some money. I was talking with Alty and Chito in their yard. Chito was repairing a broken pipe in the water tank. In Mexico, often the homes have tanks to supply water on the days when water is not delivered. Here in Santa Rosalia, water is delivered every other day.
Little Victor was playing around with his soccer ball. Just horsing around with Victor, I lifted him up on my shoulder. For awhile he was upside down and he claimed that he lost $5 pesos from his pocket. I asked him if he would like to work in order to earn $5 pesos.
I gave him the job of raking the area around MsTioga. After he completed his job, he was paid the $5 pesos plus one of my famous chocolate chip cookies.

8PM - Enchilada for supper. Do you remember a few days ago MsTioga prepared a load of enchiladas in her oven? Hmmmm? Well, tonite Jorge wanted one of those enchiladas for supper.
MsTioga loves to use one of her cast iron skillets to prepare a supper. It is soooooo easy! Everything for supper goes into the skillet, and then into the oven. Jorge eats right from the skillet. Do you do that too?
