6:30AM - Storm! Rain has not fallen on MsTioga since last December. But a storm moved in from the west this morning. Rain has been falling for the past hour. For awhile, strong winds blew tumble weeds across the hotel parking area where The Team has made Camp.
In the pic below, Mavicito captures the storm from MsTioga's rear window.

MsTioga - How long will she live? When George met MsTioga in February, 2003, she had 53,746 miles. Today MsTioga has 91,018 miles. That equals 37,242 in 3-1/4 years, or approximately 1,000 miles per month. At that rate, when George turns 75 years old in the year 2012, MsTioga will have about 175,000 miles. Will both of these two aging vagabonders last this long? Hmmmmm?
This is what MsTioga's Owner's Manual says about fulltiming: The Tioga Arrow is designed for recreational use and short term occupancy only. It is not designed or intended to be used as permanent housing.
The Tioga and George Adventure Team truly believes that with proper care, MsTioga may easily survive to her 21st year in 2012, and beyond. We feel that our success has certainly disproven the Owner's Manual warning against fulltiming. Don't you agree?
Don’t you think that MsTioga looks pretty good at 15 years of age?
10AM - What does a tumbleweed look like? Longtime reader Margie who lives in the wilds of tornado torn Tennessee asks: “Would you post a photo of a tumbleweed? I think I brought one home from our trip out West, but I'm not sure that is really what it is.”

12 Noon - MsTioga in Utah! Suddenly we saw the border sign. MsTioga had arrived in the State of Utah. Wow!
Utah!
The Team loves gasoline in Utah. A few miles after entering Utah, we came to a Flying J gas station. Tons of cars and trucks were filling up, so we stopped to see what was going on. It was the price of gasoline that was the thing!
$2.459 per gallon!
2PM - Camped in the City of St. George. We bought a few maintenance things for MsTioga, and then found a Camp for the nite in an industrial section in St. George.
A thunderstorm with pelting rain lasted for about ten minutes. After the rain, MsTioga was heard to say, “Finally my roof is clean!”

6:30PM - Riding around St. George. Close to sundown, Mr. Trek, Little Mavicito and George went for a bike ride around St. George. This is a beautiful town, especially because it is surrounded by grand and colorful cliff shaped hills. Little Mavicito took some panoramas of these hills. Mavicito said that he liked his cloud pic best.
