7AM - Confusing mechanical stuff. MsTioga's Ford manual has some things that we do not understand. In the maintenance schedule, there is an item that reads: Lubricate automatic transmission external controls (Bellcrank System).
We have a Chilton Manual that should tell us what a Bellcrank System is, but there is nothing in this manual about it. We searched in Google, and found nothing either.
Do you know what the Bellcrank System is? This morning we lubricated what we think may be these external controls. Little Mavicito took a pic of them.
Are these rods the Bellcrank System?
10AM - End of the road. We continued north this morning. The plan was to go perhaps to the Town of Carp, about 33 miles away. However, after only 7 miles, the road was Closed To Public. We are going to make a Breakfast Camp here, and then return to Interstate 15, about 16 miles south.
End of this trip.
11:30AM - Another road pops up. A short while after getting on Interstate 15 going east, we came upon the offramp sign in the pic below. Hmmmm? Isn't this where we wanted to go when we were headed up that road with the Closed To Public sign?
We decided not to try that again, and continued traveling toward the Town of Mesquite.
12 Noon - Mesquite, Nevada. Have you ever been to Mesquite? This is a real thriving town. Lots of nice homes being built. Of course casinos. A few nice shopping centers and even a Wal*Mart!!
The Team will likely spend the nite in Mesquite.
4PM - Big time gambler. I used to gamble in Nevada years ago. My game is craps. I have not gambled on this trip thru Nevada.
I was walking by the Eureka Casino, and walked in to take a peek. There was a young blonde woman who just got the dice. I got the feeling that she would be lucky, and put $2 down on the pass line. She rolled an eight. I placed $4 odds behind my pass line bet. She won.
She then rolled a four. I put $6 behind my $2 pass line bet. She won with a hard four. When the blonde lady sevened out three passes later, I had $104 winnings, and walked away from the table.
