8AM - Oregon Trail Center.
We are at the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center near Baker City, Oregon. This is our 2nd visit here to this center. We were first here in 2004. This place deserves many visits!

The link below will take you to our blog on that 2004 visit.

10AM to 4PM - Touring the Oregon Trail Center.
We had such a grand time, being at the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center today. First of all, we met reader Ara and his beloved dog Spirit, who drove here so see us on their motorcycle. Wow!
Ara & Spirit.

The center has such wonderful displays of Oregon Trail life! You know how we have been out on the Oregon Trail hoping to see a real wagon? Well, we saw one today!
A real wagon on the Oregon Trail.

A pioneer wagon moving on the Trail.

We got to meet giants in history who explored the west!
Kit Carson

John Fremont

We listened to a tale of history told by a volunteer about how the Oregon Trail came to be. He told of things from 1750 to 1850, which led to our pioneers winning the west!

7PM - Camped in lovely Richland, Oregon.
We headed east on Hwy #86 after the Interpretive Center. Tomorrow we are going to visit with Reader Ara & his wonderful dog Spirit, and these two are camping out in this direction.

MsTioga found a gorgeous Camp with flowers! It is in the farming Town of Richland, Oregon.

George & MsTioga in Richland's wild flower project place.

MsTioga and Little Mavicito have something to share with you, OK? It is a pic of MsTioga sort of inside a "circle of pioneer wagons!"
MsTioga would love to be in a wagon train!
