MsTioga and The Team are in the Town of Halfway, Oregon. We are visiting with Reader Ara Gureghian, who is also known as The Beemer Chef. Ara has a 24' Tioga RV, and also has a BMW motorcycle toad with a sidecar. And, he has a wonderful dog named Spirit, who George has taken a strong liking to!
Ara has another website, which we have not explored yet. It is called, Personal Chef Ara. We only met Ara yesterday at the Oregon Trail Center. But he seems to be an interesting person and today we will get to know him!
2PM - Back on The Oregon Trail.
We have returned to the Oregon Trail [Interstate #84] and have made our Nite Camp a bit north of the Town of North Powder, Oregon.
On our way here to this Camp, Little Mavicito was busy capturing pics. Little Mavicito claims that we passed a real wagon train! Can you imagine that? Here is the pic of that wagon train below.
At a rest stop close by our Camp, there was another wonderful Oregon Trail history kiosk with pictures and diary quotes.
The Blue Mountains were a significant place and challenge for the pioneers on the Oregon Trail. In the pic and diary quote below, the story of a little girl seeing the Blue Mountains is told.
