Ever since I began to be a fulltime RVer, I've been cautioned about dangerous things. Propane heaters, battery fumes, tire failure, drinking water; and a ton of other stuff. Lately I've been receiving info about crime in Mexico.
What am I to do with news stories about crime in Mexico?
When I was recovering from cancer, I made a deal with myself to live unafraid. There is a note that I wrote to myself on MsTioga's bathroom door to remind me of that deal. I've posted in my blog about that deal a few times.
I don't run away from my dreams,
Because of my fear of what "might" happen.
I have faith that no matter what fate brings me,
I shall overcome!

2PM - A water leak?
As you may know, we get a kick out of repairing things that go wrong with MsTioga. However, there are some things that get broken that are more dismaying than fun to repair.
We keep our equipment manuals in a plastic box in MsTioga's cabover cabinet. When we went into the plastic box this afternoon, we found that the manuals were wet. Not damp. Wet! As you may imagine, since MsTioga has a new fiberglass roof, water in this box was very unexpected.
Inspection of the roof left only the five forward clearance light fixtures suspect. There was moisture in the dome of each fixture. To repair, all holes into the roof from screws securing the fixtures were re-caulked.
We just went thru a two day steady rainstorm that must have penetrated the roof. Not a good thing!
