Carbonite and Mozy.
Ms. Viola [laptop computer] is performing tests to see which online backup system she prefers. When the first Ms. Viola was stolen during our trip to Israel, we lost a lot of data. We failed to be conscientious with our computer backups. We had a good system in place consisting of a Buffalo 160GB hard drive. We failed to use the Buffalo consistently.

So, over the next few weeks we will try the online Carbonite and Mozy systems to see how we like them.

Having a job!
Many people dream of the day when they will retire from their job. Then they will do nothing but have a good time. And there are some who do that. But not me!

I have found that I need the fulfillment of having a job. Of completing a task and standing back to admire my work. The challenge of it. I am a computer geek, and am sooooooo glad that I am one. Because being a computer geek has given me my job!

And what is my job? It is creating, maintaining and publishing my website. I would not give up my job for anything. I love it sooooooo much! And, I even earn income from my job. Isn't that the greatest thing?

A geek in his PJs doing his job!

Have you used our Quarterly Calendars?
At the top of our left hand column is a Quarterly Calendar pulldown. Have you tried using this calendar? Hmmmmmm?

It's pretty neat! Pick any quarter in any year. The calendar will come up. Then pick a date. After that, you may use the "Yesterday/Tomorrow" buttons to go from one day to the next.

Give it a try!

12 Noon - Ciudad Hidalgo.
We are heading toward Ciudad Hidalgo. However, on the outskirts of Zitacuaro, we found this good looking BBQ chicken stand. Oh man! We have such a weakness for pollo asado!
