Time Zone confusion

Time Zone confusion!
My iPod Touch keeps track of what time it is when traveling thru time zones. However, somehow I became time zone confused! I thought it was 2am when actually it was 1am! Usually what time it is not very important to us on the TiogaRV Team.

This morning Mr. HP was downloading some large files. HughesNet [our satellite internet provider] has a downloading limit of 300Mb per day. During the period of 2am to 7am ET, that limit is lifted. Because of being time zone confused, we were downloading one hour early.

This is a bummer, because HughesNet FAPed me. FAP stands for Fair Access Policy. When a HughesNet customer gets FAPed because of exceeding the daily download limit, their download speed goes down to nothing for 24 hours!

And that's where I am now. In FAP land barely able to even browse!

12 Noon - Approaching 72!
The XM Radio in MsTioga has music stations devoted to decade eras. There is a station for music of the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. In about a month I will enter my 72nd year. And for me, I am more familiar with music of the 40s than music of the 90s!

During the 50s, my friends and I would usher at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Auditorium in order to see musical operettas for free. My Fair Lady, South Pacific, The King and I. We would sit in the aisles watching these fabulous shows. Sometimes there would be no shows, and we got to view from great seats!

Now I am happy just sitting and looking at things. The water of the lake. The birds. The butterflies. It is interesting to consider that I used to drive a 1959 Volkswagen from Monterey Park, California to Westwood Village five days a week to work in the Post Office. 67 miles, one way! How did I do that?
