Datastorm again

Datastorm again!
This is the 3rd day in a row that I've posted about Mr. Datastorm working or not working. You may be wondering how this could be? I am wondering that myself! There are other HughesNet subscribers who have had the same thing happen to them. Not many though!

Last nite, just before bedtime, Mr. Datastorm went up to give it "one-more-try!" It took three HughesNet software downloads, but the commission seems to be holding this time.

Weng and Francisco.
According to Mr. DeLorme, our GPS guru, it takes it takes 46 hours to drive the 2,429 miles from Portland, Oregon to Aticama, Mexico. Weng and Francisco began their journey last Saturday morning. Their plan is to drive non-stop by sharing driving duty. So, if all goes according to plan, they should arrive here in Aticama today!

Weng wrote in her blog that she would look for WiFi access points during the trip in order to keep her readers up-to-date about her travels. So far, no updates [link]!

9AM - Leftover cooking.
There is nothing that stimulates my cooking like having leftovers. Yesterday's purchase of a whole pollo asado [BBQ chicken] stimulated me this morning! Also inside Mr. Dometic [our famous fridge] red bell pepper, zucchini squash, red onion.

As you may know, I love things over a bed of rice. After preparing the rice with a chicken flavor, the vegetables were cut up. These veggies were sautéed and finished with a little soy sauce. Then cut up pollo asado was sautéed.

On sitting down to eat this breakfast, the bay tide appeared to reach its high point, only 30 feet from MsTioga. By the time eating was finished, the tide had slipped back.

Out in the bay, porpoise are rising. Using binoculars, the porpoise fins and tail are seen as the porpoise curve back into the Bay of Matanchen.
Leftover breakfast.

5PM - Not here yet!
MsTioga and The Team are Supper Camped on the shore side road below the home of Weng and Francisco. From here we may use binoculars to look at the home to see if the family has arrived. So far, nothing.

Are we anxious for the family to arrive? Oh Man! We sure are!

6PM - They are in Phoenix!
An email just came in from Francisco which read:

heyya jorge,
we are resting up in phoenix..... on the road again tomorrow.... hope to post soon....

We will be looking at Francisco's blog post for an update on their trip south to Aticama! [link]
