Are we safe?
I rarely come out with a political position here on my blog. However, the story of a Canadian man being shot while vacationing in Mexico [link] causes me to make this position post.

It is not drugs that caused this huge crime wave. It's prohibition. That is why we have Columbian drug gangs but no French wine cartels or American Budweiser gangs.

Look at the graph below which shows what happened when alcohol became an illegal drug during Prohibition. The red line is when alcohol was banned. After Prohibition ended, the Murder Rate plummeted.

Re-stating my position:

11AM - Ken, Kris y Duffie come to call
Our Reader/friends from the beach just east of our Camp walked over to say, "Hi!". Their dog Duffie came too. We spent awhile talking inside MsTioga while I finished breakfast. Then we walked west along the beach.

We came to a place where there sometimes is a water spout [Bufadora] when the wave conditions are right. No Bufadora today, but the view looking inland from atop the large rock was beautiful.

Do you see the several rental cabanas?

6PM - Last nite in Maruata!
This will be the TiogaRV Team's last nite in the tropical paradise of Maruata. In the morning we will be heading north. We have airplane tickets on March 24th to fly from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to Oakland, California.

TiogaRV Team Mission
To share the vagabonding life with our fellow RVers like yourself. We hope that you will try to boondock and dry camp. We have found great joy in camping away from the RV Campground. We would like you to try our camping life style yourself. Sharing with you our Daily Adventure is our way of encouraging you to try to camp as we do.
