Moving to office

8AM - Moving into David's office
Since arriving here at David's home on Wednesday, September 29th, I've been working from the kitchen table.  Piles of papers are all around me on the table and kitchen counter.  It is a mess and goes against my nature to be neat and orderly.  This morning I'm moving into David's office where he has a large L-shaped desk.

Clearing off David's desk to make room for myself is a bummer.  It reminds me of clearing out the stuff for my Mom and Uncle Joe after they died.  I never dreamed that I would be doing this again in my lifetime!  But here I am doing it for my son, David.

I moved all the papers from David's desk top into a large plastic storage container.  David will sort this stuff in the container out when he returns.  Of course I had to look at each paper to make sure that it did not relate to something urgent to be done.

I don't want to be involved in David's life in this way!

12 Noon - Cousin Jacky
My cousin Jacky phoned to find out how I am doing and give support.  I do not know what I would do with the support of friends and family!  We talked about David, wondering what is going on with him?

You may remember that Jacky and I went on a trip to Israel together in 2008.  Here is a [link] to the day Jacky arrived in Israel on May 30, 2008.

Jacky believes that when David returns, he will just show up at his home, walk in and say "Hi!" to me!!  Wow!  That would be sooooooo neat!

3PM - Cooking in David's kitchen
I've been cooking in MsTioga's kitchen for almost eight years.  MsTioga's kitchen is wonderful, and has everything that a person may want.  However, cooking in my son David's full kitchen is a whole lot better!

The range-top in David's kitchen is huge and made from easy-to-clean stainless steel.  And David's kitchen has a fantastic dish washer.  There is a nice convection oven.  And I may use the microwave without worrying about depleting batteries!

I made a BLT for lunch and it was sooooooo good!

7PM - Reader's email
I love to receive your email. However, I am WAY behind in my email replying! But I will reply to every email sent to me!

Since this thing with my son David happened, my incoming email has zoomed. Keep sending me email, and I will catch up little by little!

David,
