Check rear brakes

9AM - Check drum brakes
This morning MsTioga has an appointment with Cali the mechanic to check her drum brake systems, hoses and lines.  Our Ford maintenance schedule calls for this check every 24,000 miles.  However, MsTioga feels better about checking her drum brakes once each year.  So, that's what we do.

We use the Auto Maintenance Pro maintenance system to keep track of when to do stuff [link].  Before we began using this computerized maintenance system, we found keeping track of things very challenging. This is how we how we tracked our maintenance years ago [link].

10AM - Washing MsTioga!
Cali the mechanic actually has his shop in El Llano, perhaps 30 miles south of Aticama. Cali has made an arrangement with Melissa Auto Parts of Aticama to do repairs in her backyard. However, something is not working with the phone service, and Cali did not receive my request to do MsTioga's brake work.

So, we took this opportunity to wash MsTioga!  It's strange.  A few years ago when I washed MsTioga, I got all tuckered out.  Sometimes I'd get so tired, that washing was not enjoyable for me.  I do not know what happened, but lately I am full of energy when washing MsTioga. Wow!

11AM - Mr. Hawking connects!
When we went to go online, our new Mac Book computer detected an open WiFi access point nearby. We were unable to log on.  So, Mr. Hawking, our small wireless dish adapter went into action [link]. Now we are online, and it is a super fast connection too!
