Idling

8AM - Idling
I stopped working for a living at the beginning of 2000. However, only during the last few years have I had a bit of time to be truly idle. In our culture, being idle is not admired. There are many quotes to enforce this thinking.

"Idle hands are the devil's workshop". "It is impossible to enjoy idling unless one has plenty work to do." "The hardest work is to go idle."

I have thought long and hard about idleness. And it comes to me that when a person, such as myself, has accomplished all the things desired, that only by being idle will the new road to follow be found. I am not a clever person. All the mistakes that I've made prove that! But God or destiny have given me time. Extra time. And I intend to use this extra time to find my next destination. Not being clever means that the new destiny that I search for is very hard to discern. Even clues are hard to find. I must use trial and error to find them. But so far, I am adjusting to the challenge!
