I am hardly ever confused about what time it is. Even when I change time zones. It is really easy to synchronize my computer with a timeserver while online. However, lately I have been receiving odd information from locals who have the wrong local time.
That confused me for awhile. Because I believed the locals instead of believing the World Clock website and timeserver time. But this morning I truly believe that I now know the true time here at El Chaco.
When I read in the news about some older person dying, I find myself searching the news story for what illness killed this person. I seem to want to make a connection with that knowledge to my own health. This kind of activity for me does not bring any comfort. And I do not completely understand why I do it.
I've had only two really serious health issues during my life. Pneumonia is one of these. I believe that I've contracted pneumonia two times during my life. Once in the US Army in 1960. And the other time here in Mexico. I spent several days hospitalized in Santa Rosalia during February, 2007 [link].
My other serious health issue was non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a cancer which nearly killed me. I got that cancer in 2001 and was released from medical care in February, 2003. Since then, I do not recall having any serious medical problems. Or physical problems either.
This coming February, I will celebrate my 10th year of being "in remission" from cancer!
