Many readers don't enjoy my recent blog posts which recall past adventures. These readers want new adventures. New stories. However, as I've mentioned before, I am almost 75 years old now. Isn't that what older guys do? Remember the past? Hmmmmm?
This morning I was viewing a movie, and in the background the movie was playing Frank Sinatra. I grew up with Sinatra. Bought all Sinatra's albums in 33-1/3. So, when I hear Frank singing now, all those memories of my times in the 1950s get stirred up. God! Those times were the best! When I think about Frank Sinatra, it seems impossible that he is gone. In fact, to me he is still alive.
You may now be thinking: "What does Sinatra have to do with Tioga and George?" Well, it has everything to do with us. Because when you read our blog you actually are reading about what is going on with us. Because we only write about what we are thinking. What we are feeling!
10AM - Mount Saint Helens
About six weeks after the beginning of our great adventure, we entered Mount Saint Helens National Monument. That was on Tuesday, July 29, 2003. [link] MsTioga and I remained camping inside the monument for several days.
We do not know the exact location of our camps. That info was lost when Google misplaced six months of our blog posts during the first week of 2004.
Location: El Chaco RV Park
Elevation: 15 meters
