Back in the RV life

This morning I drove from my hotel in downtown Los Angeles to my friends' home in east San Diego County. As expected, this was a tiring trip for me. Open heart surgery takes away most of the endurance for persons who have gone thru this procedure.

We returned the Avis rental car and then I took up residence in their lovely Class-A RV which is parked alongside the driveway. This is a very quiet neighborhood. There are good views from the side windows. I am getting such wonderful support from my friends.

I love it here sooooooo much! What a lucky guy I am!

  2. Good news, George. You get to live in an RV with all the benefits of a home base. And, best of all, of course, is the support of your friends. Those lucky people who get to be there for you and with you. And we lucky people who have our dear blogging buddy back!

  10. Oh George, I have been remiss in reading my blogs. I just got caught up on your unfortunate (or fortunate depending on how you look at it) month of March. I'm so sorry for the demise of Miss Tioga and pray for your full recovery from what appears to be very successful heart surgery. I wish you well and enjoy your recovery period - lots of books, good food, easy exercise and good friends. Keep your chin up!

  12. Sooo glad to hear from you and sooooo sorry to hear of Miss Tioga's demise. She lived a good life and saw many things because of you George. Now she can sit in the salvage yard and tell her storys to the others! So glad you were not hurt and prayers for your speedy recovery. We love you George! Steve & Carol
