First nite-Guava Gardens

When I left John and Mimi's home yesterday morning, I had a hunch that I had just spent my last nite at their home. Yet, I returned to watch some TV shows with John and Mimi Saturday evening. After a movie that we watched together ended, I said, "Good nite", to the two of them. And then drove back to my Guava Gardens apartment for my first nite there.

I don't know why, but I did not tell them that I was going back to my apartment home.

It was not just my own bed which called out to me. It was the pleasure of a hot bath. And I found out something really neat too! This bath tub is longer than most. Really wonderful!

  1. George, just found your new blog. Glad to see you at it again. I won't go into details but our two heart problems are too similar. Aortic valve, bypass etc. It took a few weeks before my breath came back but is good now. Taking Warfarin for blood thinner and maintaining 2-3 pretty consistently. It all comes back just have to keep up the exercises
Sorry you won't be RVing but such is life.
Take care and I will keep in touch.

  4. George, the world just got smaller this morning. I have discovered that your good friend Pete Olson is a friend of mine from high school! Pete was in the same class as my brother Kim & I was a year ahead of them. We all re-connected on Facebook a few years back. I've never met Frederika & it's been many years since I've seen Pete but I would love to get together with Pete & Frederika once they hit the road & get my brother there too. It truly is a small world. So glad you're getting settled in your new place and yup. I have to agree--go BIG on the TV!!

  8. I hope that studio apt is a corner apt with windows to look out. I agree own bed and a hot bath is excellent and maybe a glass of red wine. But, I know you don't drink. I have a glass of red/white about once a week usually before bed. Take care George.
