Greg's Map

Somebody named Greg, produced an interactive map of my Nite Camp sites.

How this map was produced, I have no idea. But I am sooooo impressed!!

Click [here] to view.

PS: Greg's story about me
Readers Tony and Karen emailed me a link to Greg's blog. In his blog, Greg wrote a story about me. That story blew me away!

The perspective of me in that story is so wonderful for me read. Greg has more understanding of my RVing years than I do myself. Man-O-Man!

If you would like to read that story, please click [here].

    1. Flower girl,
No, I do not know how many dots. However, I do know that it took me over 10 years of searching for adventure to make these Nite Camps!

Also, at this point I do not know who "Greg" who prepared this map is.

  2. Wow! Whoever Greg is, he really put some effort into this. Just clicked on a few dots to see how it works. Really neat to be able to go back and remember those times! Quite an impressive trail you made, George! I hope he talks to you. Have a good Tuesday.

  5. That is so neat. I am guessing that the state of Nevada did not appeal to you!

Having gone thru Baja many times after they completed "the road" I often think of you upon the first view of the Sea of Cortes , after going down the big hill from San Ignacio into your town of Santa Rosalia.

Please keep on blogging George, you brighten my day.

    1. Hi Andrew,

I did go into Nevada. Would you like to take a look?

    1. Hi Sheila,

Yes, I visited Canada several times with MsTioga.

If you go to the top of my blog page and click on Archives, you will be taken to my Archives Page. There is a search engine window near the top of that page.

Wait for the search engine to load. Then, type in the search term "Canada". When the search is complete, scroll down and pick a link. You may have to re-pick these links to get one that works for you.

  8. Greg Kendall did an excellent job of summarizing your time rv-ing to the present time. His biographical synopsis of those years is on-the-mark and a tribute to you George! Congratulations to him and to you!

    1. Hi Carol and Bill,

Thank you! And I am glad to be counted as your friend too!

I sure would like to come out to visit with you in Las Vegas. But not on Tuesday June 21st. Because the temperature is predicted to be 116 degrees F. Wow!

  13. George, I followed your blog off and on, for so many years(too many to admit to). It was inspirational for me and I went full timing myself, while still maintaining my full time job, for about 5 years. The inspiration from your journeys was enough to encourage my doing it. But alas, old age and health forced me off the road for a while(about 5 year now). Now retired(at 69), and over the health scares, I am seriously considering going back on the road. This time, because of retirement, I would look into doing more of what you did. Class C, boondocks more often, etc. etc. Just have not convinced myself yet, that I can pull it off. Back then, there only seemed to be a few out there living this lifestyle and you were the pioneer for us all, but now it seems like there are so many more, the roads seem to be filled with more vagabonds. Anyway just wanted to say hi, and Greg's story was great about you. Feel like I lived it over again, just reading it. (I keep popping in on this site...just to see if you somehow decided to go back on the road again too...maybe someday, ya never know)

  14. I just took a look at the work Greg did on your travels. He was absolutely right in explaining your influence on your readers. It's been a pleasure reading your blog ever since we started our own fulltiming travels in late 2003. We are very sorry to hear about your current physical problems. Hopefully your doctors will figure it out for you. We will keep you in our thoughts.
