My Walking Stick

2pm - Well, I just picked it up at the Wal*Mart Neighborhood Market. My Walking Stick. I've owned walking sticks before. When I was a boy we used them when we went hiking. That was up at Baubi's Cabin in Tujunga Canyon. My Cousin Jacky had a Walking Stick the too!

Jacky and I did not have to buy our Walking Sticks. We just picked them up. Usually under the tree from which the stick fell. Our sticks were long. Sort of Moses-like in length.

The Walking Stick that I picked up from the Wal*Mart today, is adjustable in its length. I have not opened the shipping box up yet. Because it is sealed with tape. And I don't have a sharp knife here where I am eating lunch. When I do open the box, I'll put up a pic for you to see.

My adjustable walking stick!

Arthritis
3pm - Dr. Daniel, my primary care doc at Kaiser, just sent me a message confirming that the pain in my right hip area, comes from arthritis.

Dr. Daniel believes that I should do physical therapy. I'll very likely take Dr. Daniel up on that.

7pm - Pool area is open!
Finally! Just this afternoon I saw one the Guava Gardens tenants sitting in the swimming pool area. The pool gate has been locked for about 4-days. If I find out why the closure, I'll clue you in.

Right now, I am putting on my swim suit and going to the hot spa. 😎

Guess what's in the Hot Tub

  1. I'm happy to read the doctor has found the cause of the hip pain. I hope PT gets the muscles rebuilt in you hip and you get stable again you can park your 'walking stick' in the closet.

    1. Hi Judy,
Thank you sooooo much for taking time to comment!

I am doing good, even with that hip pain. Which, BTW, only comes once in awhile.

  2. Have had so much trouble with the bursa in my right hip - cortisone shots and finally asked for a prescription for therapy - that was several years ago and still do the exercise 6 days a week and take Curcmin2K which is turmeric to relieve the pain in hips - it helps, too. Good luck

    1. Hi Sandy,
When I read your comment, it came to me how tough you have it. In comparison, my complaints are trivial.

      Thank you for writing! ♥️
