Back to Guava Gardens!

5am - This is my last day at Jojoba Hills RV Resort. Around noon, Pete will drive me home.

Nobody here at Jojoba Hills is able to know when I will arrive at the top of the waiting list. Depends on how many present Jojobians leave the Park.

Next week I will fulfill a requirement to get on the waiting list. That requirement is to have ownership of an RV. When I buy the trailer that I told you about before, all my waiting list requirements will be completed. I believe that I will become the 31st person on the waiting list.

8am - Pics and thoughts from Site 224
We took two pics this morning. Rocky Top and a pic of our neighbor's planter box.

This is Rocky Top

I'm very interested in this hill called, "Rocky Top." The hill is located hard up against Jojoba Park property. However, the Park does not own it.

On becoming a Jojoba Park member, and moving here, I'm going to find out all about this mysterious hill.

Neighbor's planter box

This planter box was likely constructed in Jojoba's wood shop. I'll be able to do projects like this one when I am living here!

11am - All packed up
Pete said he would be at Site 224 where I've staying in his Lazy Daze RV for the past ten days.

Here is a pic of the inside of this fabulous Lazy Daze RV.

  2. Park looks great, trailer looks great ... one question, what will you to the trailer with? Or will you have someone else tow the trailer once you move?

    1. Hi Steve,

I'll have someone else pull the trailer to Jojoba Park.

  4. Hi George. What will you do with the new RV while you are waiting to get to the top of the list? We have a relative who was on a similar waiting list for six years before finally moving in. Could it take that long for you?

    1. Hi Doug & Juanita,

Well, sometimes I may visit my trailer just to keep her from getting lonely. [Don't have a name for her yet.]

Longtime Jojobians here at the Park tell me less than six months.

  5. Hope you move up the list fast... there's nothing like getting settled in place. That planter box looks great... does it get below freezing there?

  6. If I remember correctly, it didn't take Judy and Emma long before they had a lot. Seems like it was just weeks. You might want to verify that with Judy. I'm so happy for you, George.
