Don't like "I"

Just do not like the word "I"

Do you as a Reader of my Blog, wonder why there is all this baby talk here? For example, there is a being that is called, "Miss Twayler." Not Miss Trailer. What's that all about? Have I lost my marbles?

Well, it all begins with my not enjoying the repetitive use of the word, "I". In fact, "not enjoy" does not do it for me. "Hate" does it!

In order to avoid writing:
  • I did this
  • I went here
  • I found a penny
  • I looked, and I found that I hated I ......
How may this be done? How does "I" get almost completely trashed?  Hmmmmm? How about replacing "I" with "You?"

A tiny story example:
Miss Twayler called for a Team Meeting. George was just sitting around doing nothing. So, Miss Twayler told him, I'm bored. Let's do something. George replied, "What do you want from me?"

Frustrated, Miss Twayler told George, "Let's have a Team Meeting" and maybe all together, we will find out what to do!"

Note: From that beginning of hating the repetitive use of the word, "I", came all of the other stuff about, Mr. Dometic, MsTioga, a bird named Boid that had a huge IQ, etc, etc, etc.

Now, my Dear Reader, you know! 😀

3pm- Challenge #2
Yesterday, we wrote to you about three challenges. We wrote all about #1, and promised to write to you about the other two.

So, here we are back to write about Challege #2. The noisy heater fan challenge.

Miss Twayler's loud heater fan: That heater fan is sooooo noisy, that sleeping with it running is not likely. When the room reaches temperature, that fan keeps running. Why doesn't that fan stop at temperature? [The designer who incorporated that fan, must have loved that gorgeous fan sound].

A couple of weeks ago, a small electric space heater was located [link] on the net. We absolutely LOVE this little heater. It has a clicker remote that turns the heater on and off. The clicker also adjusts the temperature. And keeps the temp constant, all nite long. At temperature, the fan shuts down!

This little heater, is sooooo quiet!

Challenge #2 resolved. 😀

Note: We promise to let you know how Challenge #3 is coming very soon!

4pm - Baby Boid loves the Hummers!
Guess what Baby Boid told Little iPhone today? We all believed that there was not even one Hummer here at Lone Wolf.

Baby Boid said: "You are all wrong! There are a zillion Hummers here. That's why the feeder is going down sooooo fast!"

"Hey, Little iPhone! Get ready to capture some Hummer pics!", chirped Baby Boid.

Boid waits for his friends, The Hummers to call

  2. George,,,,agree, the "I" word negates the team effort. I worked for a boss once that every other word was "I", like no one of the 1300+ folks under hime contributed anything

    4. Hi Barb,

Hmmmm? I don't get you? Maybe you don't get me?

I am guessing, that you took what I wrote about "I" to mean in all phases of my life I avoid the use if the word, "I".

      When.....all I meant was:

In my Blog writing, I prefer to avoid the use the word I".

    5. Hi again, Barb.

If I was an acquaintance of yours, and was aware how you felt about the word "h*te", I would not use it when you were present.

  4. your heater fan may have a switch with an "auto" setting - then it will go off a few minutes after the heater shuts off.

    1. Hi Carol and Bill,

You are correct! The fan goes off about 30 seconds after the heater reaches temperature.

Also, even when the fan is blowing, it is very quiet. Does not disturb my sleep. 😍
