Spider

Spider Bite Is Back

7:30pm - Yesterday my right elbow began to swell up again. And this morning, that swelling is more than it was the day the spider got me.

Up until last nite, I thought that this spider bite thing was behind me. I am now wondering, how a spider bite could come back? Maybe it is something else?

I have made a doctor appointment at Kaiser-Victorville 10am this morning.

Getting rid of robots
I believe that this robot/computer thing is a very bad thing for we humans. It is to our best interests, for we human beings to refuse contact with all robot creations whatsoever!

Phone answering robots are the worst of all robots. We should never speak to a machine. Just phone and do not reply to anything that the robot voice requests. Maybe tapping "0" would work.

It is up to we humans, to stand against this thing. If a movement against machines got some traction, maybe we could get business to give a thought about using humans to answer the phone!

Exporting American Jobs
Job exporting is definitely NOT good for the American people. The United States has an unemployment rate of more than 22%. Our government has deliberately lied to us about % unemployment. Do not believe them. We, the American people need those jobs.

One thing that I really hate in this job exporting business, is talking to a customer service person who is not able to speak so to be understood.

Talking to a person who not only speaks with a big accent but pronounces words incorrectly would rarely happen if American born and raised persons were used in customer service.

My "Exporting Jobs" position is definitely NOT based on some ridiculous personal prejudice. The exporting of American jobs was done by persons of little perspective of the ramifications of such action.

But I will now expound on those ramifications:
  • A person's job is exported
  • That person takes another less paying job
  • That person now earns less money
  • Pays less taxes
  • Over time, that person lives at a lower standard
  • Sells the home, moves family to an apartment
  • Goes on food stamps and other subsidies
And our government, who should know better, but does not not know better, covers the whole thing up with phony labor statistics [otherwise known as damned lies!]

Cost of living government statistics may be even a bigger lie by the government compared to labor stats. Our government perpetuates scandals of gigantic proportions. Impossible to comprehend.

11am - Not a spider bite
My self-diagnosis and treatment for a spider bite was way off! I was diagnosed with Right Olecranon Bursitis. Probably had a trauma there by bumping my elbow.

I have medication for treatment:
  • Cephalexin 500mg oral capsules
  • Mupirocin ointment
I am guessing that I should stop practicing medicine!

PS: In December, 2015 my weight was 182 lbs.
Today my weight is 156 lbs.
Blood pressure: 113/71

PPS: I lost this weight by becoming aware of only eating if I got hungry. Also, I stopped belonging to the "Clean Plate Club".

  1. Spider bites, especially brown recluse, are corrosive to the wound area. Glad you are going to the doctor about it. I had a brown recluse bite that hung on for months, before healing properly.

  2. With a blood pressure that low, do you get dizzy when you get up? I think you can afford to put on a few pounds and enjoy life a little more with food. Just my opinion.

    1. Hi Rita,

I understand completely. Our practicing medicine without a license is kind of hit-or-miss.

  4. If it were a recluse you'd know. I had one on my ankle 10 or more years ago and skin halfway to my knee started getting gangrenous and took the better part of a year to heal

    1. Hi Bill,

That is just a terrible thing to read in your comment about your spider bite.

My thing, by comparison, is only a mild irritation.

  5. Your BP is excelect. Losing 26 lbs in a year , on the surface seams a bit much but when you consider all you have been through medical speaking, I think it is to be expected.
I wish I could be as disciplined as you with food😁
As long as you are feeling fit and well and see you dr once in awhile I think you are going about living your life just honky dorky.
And between, me and you I might be a tad jealous 😜

    1. Hi Harriet

Thank you so much for your comment about my blood pressure being excellent.

I don't know precisely what happened that allowed me to turn away from food when I was not hungry. But whatever it was, I am VERY lucky for it.

  6. George... You talk about automated phone systems and robots taking jobs. You seem to order a lot of products on line. Wouldn't that be taking jobs away from local people in your community that would be working at those stores? Additionally the auto mechanic because you drive less miles and the auto body specialist because you don't dent your car as much? Aren't you being a bit hypocritical?

    1. Hi Dirk,

You are on a dead-wrong track when you equate me as a hypocrite.

None of your examples make sense. For example: "local people working in stores losing jobs to online stores."

Wise and aggressive local store owners can, and do compete with totally online stores."

But you already knew that, didn't you Dirk? You just like to make trouble and cast suspicions.

      Naughty boy!

  7. Statistics are meant to be manipulated to prove a certain perspective. I don't trust them. Every country presents skewed statistics on unemployment, GDP, etc.

    1. Hi LBM,

It is up to the citizens of our country, to educate themselves about fabricated statistics.

But maybe in the USA, many [most?] citizens just do not take the time for that. And are simply not interested?

I do take the time and subscribe to an excellent online service titled:

  8. George, I started only eating when hungry over 20 years ago. Why should anyone eat just because it is high noon? Or 6:00 PM? I am 5'-9" tall and weigh 168 pounds; my BP is great. You're looking good!
