No Mac

Forgot Mac in MsScampy!

9:15am - Yesterday when we unloaded MsScampy, the Mac was left behind! And when we found out about that, the Lone Wolf office was closed. MsScampy stays inside the storage yard, which is locked.

Not having the Mac means, no Blog posts! We are sooooo sorry that we were unable to Blog to you yesterday about our return to Lone Wolf! 🤔

5pm - Exhausted!
I've been working all day to complete Little Honda's new storage cabinets. A little while ago, I finished!

The two cabinets are now installed in Honda's storage area.

I am sooooo exhausted! I am heading over to 24 Hour's spa and treat myself to a long soak so that I may recover.

    1. You are absolutely correct, Andrew!

We are considering buying every single thing that MsScampy needs. That way, this "back and forth business" between MsScampy and MsTwayler will end.

      Whatta ya think

    3. I have almost everything we need to travel duplicated in my house and RV..makes it so much easier to load up and go. Got most of it at thrift stores and yard sales. Special clothes, meds, computer and perishables is all I have to load and we're good to go.

    1. Hi OAT,

I feel the same as you do about my Mac!

Fortunately, I only had to wait for Lone Wolf's office to open to obtain the key to the storage lot.

  3. George, With your tissue valve you are much less inclined to need a blood thinner. It is normally discontinued 3-6 months after surgery. With the St. Jude's mechanical (ceramic) valve thinners are significiantly more important. So you are following general medical rules without even knowing it. Are you ever checked to monitor your clotting levels? From you diet it does not appear you ingest abnormal amounts of K.

    1. Hi Bob,

Warfarin, a blood thinner, was prescribed to me by my Kaiser cardiologist because I had a blood clot.

Kaiser's position on my blood clot is that I should continue Warfarin for the rest of my life. My cardiologist warned me of a stroke possibly happening as a result my discontinuing Warfarin.

However, Warfarin caused a hematoma which came close to killing me. I stopped ALL my meds at that time!!

That's why I am now in fantastic shape!

PS: Yes. When I took Warfarin, Kaiser checked my blood on a very close schedule.

  4. We keep our class b setup to leave at all times as it's our earthquake shelter too. We keep a get away bag inside the house to put our grab and go items, lap top etc. All this is on check lists we keep in our phone. We don't forget things so much anymore.

  5. You need a tote bag of some sort where you store your computer and maybe chargers and stuff. Then you can just grab it and go.

One thing I learned is that I have to leave stuff out in plain sight or I will forget it when I go somewhere.

    1. Hi Grandma! 😍

I never give up trying to be organized.

Tote bag? How about my back pack? Thank you for helping with your comment!
