Excited

Getting Twayler Ready

6:30am - Yes! We are sooooo excited about getting ready to head out on Monday! Actually, Twayler is already pretty much all set for her move to Lone Wolf's storage. And of course, Little Scampy is always ready to roll!

Today, the maintenance guys from Lone Wolf will be coming over to clue me in about what needs to be done to clean up our site. Tomorrow, Twayler's stabilizer jacks will be retracted.

Shining Twayler up
Yesterday, we bought "Meguiar's No. 50 One Step Cleaner Wax." One of our Lone Wolf neighbors told us about it. His RV looks gorgeous!

We have been a bit neglectful of maintaining Twayler's exterior. But no more! Today we intend to purchase a ladder so that we may apply Meguiar's all the way up.

Working out
All this move out preparation will not keep George from going to 24 Hour Fitness this morning. Gotta keep those old muscles strong!

1:30pm - The ladder
Readers are warning me to keep myself off the new ladder. So, I am only going use the Meguiar's when I am standing on the ground. I'll hire somebody to do the high up part when I am living at Jojoba!

Thank all of you for caring about me!

3pm - Fridge vent cover
Do you recall when Scampy's Dometic vent cover got destroyed? A new vent cover was ordered from Amazon. But UPS lost it?! Would you believe?

I never liked that vent cover anyway. The Dometic's tiny burner flame would go out during driving. And that vent cover would have to be removed in order to restart. Poor design made that vent cover a pain to remove and put back.

Today I fabricated a vent cover myself. Of course the design is fantastic, because I designed it myself! 😉

This new vent cover has a small opening, large enough to do the restart without removing the cover. I'll post a pic of this vent cover when it's finished.

    1. Hi Carol & Bill,

I know that I should not be on a ladder. Maybe I'll hire somebody to do it for me.

    1. Hi Geromio,

About two years ago, my heart stopped working too! And my wonderful MsTioga died as a result!!

I believe that I am only going to shine up the part of Twayler at ground level. I gotta listen to these warnings.
