Plan #2

More About Fulltiming

6:30am - In yesterday's Blog, we wrote to you about The Scampy Team's desire to fulltime. We would like to expand on that a bit.

MsTwayler is back at Lone Wolf RV Park in the City of Apple Valley. Tomorrow, The Scampy Team will head out of San Diego, bound for Lone Wolf. When we are back with MsTwayler, we will prep her for storage in Lone Wolf's storage area.

As you may be aware, MsTwayler was intended to be our home when we become a member of the Jojoba Hills SKP Resort. MsTwayler will remain there.

When we wish to search for adventure away from Jojoba Hills, The Scampy Team will do that!

11:30am - Murray Ridge Park
After working out at the Balboa 24 Hour Fitness Club, we went to a nearby
In-N-Out Burger.

George has an appointment at Kaiser to have the stitches in his forehead removed. That appointment is for 3pm. So, we asked Google to find us a nearby city park to make a Temporary Camp.

We are at Murray Ridge Park. It was necessary to poke around on a Google Map in order to find a parking lot inside the park.

4:15pm - MCAS Miramar
After George's stitches were removed, we headed out toward Lone Wolf. However, the traffic on I-15 North got pretty heavy. So, we got off I-15 and looked around for a Nite Camp site.

We found a good site a bit north of the Marine Corps Air Station-Miramar. We likely will spend the nite here.

    1. Hi OAT,

      Yes! Coming together!

I seemed to be a little lost a couple of months back. But somehow I found my way!! 😀

  4. Hi George, I can appreciate your desire to simplify but every time you come back from a long trip in Scampy you are VERY glad to spread out and relax in Ms. Twayler. You've got the best of both worlds, you might want to keep it that way.

    1. Hi Suz,

Well, for my past trips with Scampy you are correct. But not on this present trip.

But there is an out for me. Anytime that I want to live in MsTwayler, all that I have to do is return to Lone Wolf!

    2. Thought you said you were putting Twayler in the storage lot?

    3. Hi Suz,

      Yes, that might be confusing.

Twayler is going in the Lone Wolf storage lot while I am RVing with Scampy. However, Twayler may be taken out of storage and into a Lone Wolf RV space when I wish.

  5. Rub Vitamin E Oil on the scar and it will help to fade it - great stuff.

  6. My father-in-law used cocoa butter to keep the area moist and not let it heal too quickly which would leave a scar. It worked. You could barely see where the Tennessee Walker stallion had bitten him from the top of his head to just beneath his eyebrows. Over 150 stitches. The only time you could see a few was when he was extremely tired.
