Storage

Getting Twayler Ready

7am - Today we will get Twayler ready for her move into Lone Wolf's storage lot. In order to do this, Little Scampy will me coming over to be with Twayler. From here on, we will be living in Scampy.

All of Twayler's shore connections will be removed. We have already dumped Twayler's holding tanks and fresh water tank.

The food in Twayler's Dometic fridge will be moved to Scampy's fridge. Inside Twayler, all stuff that may fall down will be moved to the floor. The slide out will be retracted. And the stabilizer jacks raised. Propane turned off.

We will leave Twayler's battery connected so that her electric tongue jack may be used. After Twayler resides in the storage yard, her battery will be disconnected.

Tomorrow at 9:30am
Brian, our Lone Wolf neighbor will move Twayler to storage. Then, the Scampy RV Team will head out and begin searching for adventure!

11:30am - Rain, wind, snow!
On the way to 24 Hour Fitness this morning, I was surprised to see snow on the mountain near Apple Valley.

At Little Twayler this morning, the Dometic burner was off! At first, I was confused about the burner being off. But then it came to me that the strong winds of last nite blew the burner out.

1:30pm - Rain again!
We completed most of the "closing down Twayler" chores. All that is left is to move the slide-out in. Raise the stabilizer jacks. And a few miscellaneous things. And we would be good to go!

Then, rain came again. So, we stopped the close down.

Big rain drops are falling on Twayler's roof. Love that sound! 😍

PS: Loud thunder too. Baby Boid does not seem to be bothered by thunder.

At first, Boid was afraid if his new wood perch
[Not anymore!]

7:30pm - Twayler locked down
MsTwayler is ready to be towed to storage tomorrow morning. Baby Boid and George are now living in Little Scampy!

Hurray for Twayler, Scampy and George! 😇
