South bound

.          ....and down!
Day 147

Pacific Coast Route

7:53am:
We are looking at our paper map. Which way shall we go? Going slow via the coast road? Or, fast via I-5?

Every time we have this decision to make, the Pacific Coast Route always won. Hands down! Because that way is sooooo beautiful.

Parts of the Pacific Coast Route are challenging for making Nite Camps. But we have Tioga George to lean on for that! 😏

.

City of Florence
We do not know why, but Florence, Oregon seems kind of mysterious. Little iPhone has been wondering about mysterious Florence too.

At a Team meeting this morning, Little iPhone proposed that we remain here for a day or two. Little iPhone went on, "To explore and search for adventure!" 😎

11:31am:
Laundry day
We just put our laundry in the dryer.

After folding and hanging the finished laundry, we are thinking about heading over to Harbor Vista County Park, for a look-see.

While Afternoon Camped here
we installed our Propane gas detector

Note: The pic above is at the best view in Harbor Vista County Park!

    2. It is hard for us to head up the west coast because we can only be in the states for 6 months, Oct 18 to apr 10 don't want to head north ip the coast in March then travel across Canada that early in the season. Decisions....

    3. our awesome travels,

I was not aware of the 6-month visit time limit for Canadians.

    4. The limit is now 7 months, but it is only to keep your provincial health care active. The limit is Plus, it varies by province. Also, you can apply for a two year absence. But yes, as Canadians we are only allowed to be in the states for 182 out of any 12 month period. Good thing there are lots of other countries in the world to visit!

  4. Maybe I missed some posts, but (1) what did Pete learn about why Jojoba returned yout $'s, (2) why are you no longer indicating night camps, and (3) have you had your cat heater plumbed correctly? Hopefully you'll soon have all the glitches resolved and be safely and happily "On the Road Again."

    3. Barb A,

      1. Something that was read in my Blog.
      2. There are nutty people out there. Don't want them to know where I am sleeping. I could post my Nite Camp location the morning after instead of that nite.
      3. My Wave3 catalytic heater is plumbed directly to the hose now. Also, I have installed a propane detector alarm.

I am "On the Road Again" right now! Attending to glitches along the way. 😎

I would keep your night camps more private!

    1. Joan,

I quit publishing my Nite Camp location map a few weeks ago. For security reasons.

I may publish them again. The morning after instead of the evening I make a Nite Camp there.
