T-Mobile

Day 149

Internet Deprived

9:45am:
The Scampy RV Team has T-Mobile as their carrier. Since yesterday afternoon, we have been passing thru an area where there are no T-Mobile towers.

Right now, we are Morning Camped in the Town of Bandon, Oregon. Across the street is Bandon Fish Market. We have connected to the WiFi from the fish market in order to publish this Blog post.

11:22am:
Floras Lake
Scampy is getting low on water. We asked at a Shell station in Bandon to use their hose connection. The attendant refused. We do not ask people who refuse water, why they refused. There is no real reason. Perhaps just being ornery?

Anyway, we continued on our way with eyes open for water. We went down a dirt road to a boat ramp. No water there.

We figured that an RV park might be OK. And it was! Floras Lake RV Park. We are there now.  Scampy water tank is filled.

We hear the sound of waves from the nearby beach.

Beyond the sand berm are the waves we hear!

PS: We are using a T-Mobile connection now!

4:29pm:
Tránsito's record trip!
This day Tránsito towed a record of 132 miles! All the way from Coos Bay, Oregon to Crescent City, California. Wow! We are sooooo proud of our Tránsito!

As you may know, we do not do long trips very often. However, we are not comfortable without an internet connection. So, here we are!

Coastal redwood trees
Right after we entered California, we viewed the Coastal Redwood Trees. We love the look of the bark of these trees.

5:14pm:
Supper tonite
It's a pork chop! Salad too with Paul Newman's Ranch Dressing! Love that!

    1. Hi Rogue,

I am guessing that there will not be many places that T-Mobile does not have towers.

In the future, because of all the band width spectrum that T-Mobile won in that auction, that T-Mobile will one day be the premier carrier in the entire nation.

T-Mobile is certainly better than Verizon in customer service and cost!
