Bye-bye Twayler

Wakeup

Last Day at Lone Wolf

2:01am:
The Scampy RV Team heads out from Lone Wolf Colony RV Park tomorrow morning at 8am. We are ready! No more urgent things to attend to.

So, what shall we be doing today? Tweaking! We want to tweak the entire
Yingli Solar Panel/Renogy Rover Solar Charge Controller circuit. We want to make that circuit look clean and professional from the Yingli all the way to where that circuit enters Scampy.

Also, we want to give MsTwayler, MsScampy and Señor Tránsito a good wash.  We have a washing brush for Twayler that has a long pole which allows washing all the way her roof.

For Scampy and Tránsito, we have a washing brush and squeegee with an 8' long extension pole.

2:29am:
Up early
We went to bed very early last nite. A bit before 9am. Our regular bed time is 11pm. But we were exhausted from putting in a hard day!

Breakfast this morning will be over at Twayler's. It will be Pot Roast for breakfast. The Pot Roast was only a two pounder. But I only eat small meals
now-a-days. So there is left-over Pot Roast. We will put whatever remains from breakfast in a plastic container and put it in Scampy's Mr. Dometic.

5:01pm:
Twayler ready!
We just completed Twayler's storage preparation. We even tire-blacked Twayler's propane tank cover.  When we did finish, the Sun was mighty low in the sky! Wow! We would not care for doing prep work in the dark.

Baby Boid and I went over to Twayler. We will spend the evening over here. Everybody on The Team is talking about how great Twayler looks now that she's all prepped up.

What do you think about Twayler's propane tank cover?

6:10pm:
Question?
Should Twayler's roof vents be open or closed when she is in storage?

8:55pm:
Video!
We have just completed making a video taken inside MsTwayler.
Little iPhone captured this video which features Baby Boid and myself sitting at our new table in Twayler's kitchen.

Right at this moment, we are in the middle of a download of video editing software. This video editor is named, "Final Cut Pro X." This download is kinda slow. The download speed shows 1-day left!

Wow! I sure hope the download speeds up a tad!

Note: The download speed using our T-Mobile Personal Hotspot is pitiful. Tomorrow, we will buy a frappuccino at Starbucks and use their HotSpot to complete this download.

    1. Ed,

I was considering the summer heat inside Twayler, when I asked for whether to leave roof vents open or closed.

  5. George, on my motorhome, I've installed "roof vent covers." When I leave my motorhome for a month or two, I leave the roof vents open for ventilation and the covers prevent rain from coming in. I'm not in a particularly dusty area, so dust is not a concern. It keeps the temp inside lower and doesn't smell musty when I return. Safe Travels Bob

    1. Hi Bob,

The question is a mute issue now. Because I closed the roof vents. And I am gone from Apple Valley.
