Lucky

Day 32

Happy New Year!

8:16am:
A couple days ago, a good friend told me:
"George, you are the luckiest person that I know. Even when you do the wrong thing, it comes out right!"

An example of my luck is how I came to be living full time in Scampy and Tránsito. You may recall that I had bought Twayler in order to get on the wait list at Jojoba Hills.

Then, I got arrested in Beaverton, Oregon. When I Blogged about being arrested, people at Jojoba read my Blog and learned about my arrest. The Board of Directors at Jojoba decided that I was not the kind of person that they wanted living there [Being that I am a criminal and all that!].

Jojoba returned my deposit money. At first I was shocked when that happened. However, I then found that I was happy about being kicked out of Jojoba. My life is much better being a fulltimer without a Home Base!

9:02am:
Cabinet shelf
Yesterday I Blogged to you about buying stuff to construct a shelf for shoes inside one of Scampy's cabinets.

When finished, this shelf is going to be one of those tweaks that I really enjoy using. I just do not like the way my shoes are a jumbled mess.

Also, fitting this shelf inside a cabinet is a challenge. And I enjoy this kind of challenge sooooo much!

3:50pm:
Just finished installing the shelf!

The shoes I'm wearing are not in there yet!

4:30pm:
Wonderful evening planned!
We will BBQ a New York boneless steak in Scampy's kitchen. Fried or mashed potatoes. Nice cole slaw salad.

Then, we will watch 2017 fade away. And 2018 make its presence! Wow! What a fantastic life we on the Scampy RV Team lead!

We will be thinking about you this evening. With love in our heart! A hope for peace in our soul!

New Year's Eve 2018!

  2. Happy new year George. I too tweak my little house on an on-going basis. Owning anything requires that i.e. vehicle, house, RV, etc. I added shelves in my closet too to hold folded tee shirts and shorts. I stack the tee's by color. I made a list of 'things to do' for 2018! On the list is to lay pavers for a mini patio to set my swing on...I'm doing this tweak before summer when it gets over 100 degrees. I have the 4x4 bricks and the area cleared to start work soon. Many other 'to do' on the list including exterior paint the house. I do my own painting. Santa gave me a gift card to Home Depot and I intend to use it for paint and tools...how about that?!

I don't think you're particularly 'lucky'. I think you just have a penchant for making lemonade when life deals you lemons. And it appears you're awash in lemonade.

    Happy 2018!

Guess what? I just found this comment in SPAM?!

Could this be some kind of a super magnetic black hole kind of thing?

Maybe the good times Rock and Roll?
