Spammers

Day 2

Why Moderate Comments?
And other stuff

8:58am:
The Scampy Team's Blog doesn't have many spammers. Even so, it is necessary to control those few. Fortunately, Blogger provides a way to do that control. That way is called: Moderating Comments.

When I have Moderating Comments turned on in Blogger, I must review your comment and publish it. This stops all spamming.

The spammers who come around to my Blog, use different identities in order to disguise themselves. They may publish their comments for awhile being polite and respectful to me and Readers of my Blog.

But eventually spammers reveals themselves.

.

Other stuff
Day Number:
You may notice that at the top of my Blog is a Day #. Today's day is Day 2. This Day shows the number of days on this trip.

When we took off from Lone Wolf Colony RV Park yesterday, that was the beginning of a new trip. So, that was Day 1. The Scampy Team has a kinda of idea of where we are going. For example, we are now traveling south toward the City of San Diego.

Example: When we head out from San Diego [Likely next Spring], our Day # will begin again at #1 again.

Pics and videos:
The folks on the Scampy RV Team believe that we have not been publishing anywhere near the amount of pics that would contribute to our Blog being really cool and neat.

From now on, we intend to publish a whole lot more pics.

The same with video:
We are planning on publishing lots more videos also. In the past, when MsTioga was alive and well, we published lots of videos.

Note: These videos remain on our YouTube site and you may view those videos
by clicking [Here] to see an Index of all our Videos.

11:09am:
24 Hour Fitness
This 24 Hour Club is located only a couple of miles from our Nite Camp. Scampy is Morning Camped in a parking area very close to 24 Hour. There are many open spaces here.

After working out at 24 Hour, this would be a very good spot to wash Scampy and Tránsito!

2:40pm:
Trader Joe's
Yesterday evening after supper at the Burger Lounge with Pete and Frederika, we walked over to nearby Trader Joe's. I love this market. They have such different things to offer customers!

I brought back with me, Trader Joe's Shrimp & Salmon Trio!

The instructions call for baking in an oven at 400℉. I figured that the baking could be done in my fry pan lined on the bottom with aluminum foil [A little crumpled up].

3:27pm:
Deep Cleaning Tránsito
We have been wanting sooooo much to really give Señor Tránsito a really good cleaning! We have not been able to do that cleaning until this afternoon!

Everything that we did while at Lone Wolf Colony RV Park was prioritized. The most important thing being getting Scampy and Tránsito properly wired to our Yingli solar panel and the Renogy Rover Solar Charge Controller.

Now, those things are behind us!

Wood crate: Target sells the wood crate shown in the pic. The crate is made without using glue! As a result, the crate must be reinforced so that it does fall apart. I used sheet metal screws.

  4. George, how are you going to wash Transito and Scampy in a 24-Hour Fitness parking lot? Where is your water supply without using up your water in Scampy's tank?

    1. Hi Dee,

I only used a tiny amount of water today.

      I am a very conservative washer! 😎

  7. Maybes a storage cover would have been worthwhile for the trailer while being stored for what looks like months to come. Keeps the paint looking like new.

    1. Hi Paul,

A cover may be a good idea. How would I get a cover on/off."

I've arranged for a company called "Mayfield's Detailing" to come around every 4-months or so to detail MsTwayler.

Since you lost your motorhome it seems like your photos
And comments have decreased considerably from your original type of posting that you did way back when
As they say pictures are worth a 1000 words so you won't have to type up as much
    PS.
please,,, no pictures of the rolled up tidy Whiteys, ( underwear ). after all this is a family blog
