Sunday chores

9:29am:
Propane
Our Nite Camp location was on Clairmont Mesa. Nice quiet Nite Camp.

This morning, the Scampy Team is heading to downtown San Diego to U-Haul where our propane tank will be filled. The tank went empty late Friday afternoon. Since we have two propane tanks now, going empty is no longer a terrible event.

.

9:45am:
Honda Generator
Then we are heading over to Ventura Cove Park in Mission Bay where we will hook up our Honda Generator for the first time. Our solar electric system needs a bit of help.

The sky has been overcast for more than a week. The overcast is being predicted to last for more than two weeks more. These kind of weather conditions are the reason we have the Honda Generator.

10:14am:
Movie review
Have you seen the movie, "The Shape of Water?"

The plot is about a mute woman who is a maid at some kind of institution. While doing her chores, she finds a water tank that contains what appears to be some kind of fish like creature that has human characteristics [Arms, hands, head]. This maid befriends this creature.

I don't get it? How does a person dream up a plot like this?

  1. Did your generator charge up your batteries? We rented a Honda 1000, for a winter trip, once. Did a fine job and soooo quiet! You could hold a conversation right next to it.

Hope it worked as well for you, George.

  2. I guess the same like people who created fairy tales, comic books, etc. who dreamed up those types of plot. In a million years, those creatures might be living here and few humans left.

    1. Hi Rita,

      Yes! You are probably right.

The box office receipts are up to $111 million! My taste in stories must be different than other folks.

My opinion...gotta be some good drugs. Ask myself that question a lot lately with all the strange commercials and movies. LOL

  5. I loved Shape of Water. It showed man's inhumanity to others who are different and man's ability to love those who are different and to help those who are different. It did this without making it about humans but instead about aliens. The point is still the same. One individual can love someone different while another hates that exact same lifeform.
