Haircut

9:46am:
A few days ago I blogged about wanting to see myself bald. Today I am going to get a haircut. Is this the day that I get a bald cut?

No! It's not! But I am going to mention thinking about getting a bald cut to Tina, the lady who has been cutting my hair for several years.

2:46pm:
Woody Allen
I've been a fan of Woody Allen for many years. Today while prowling the internet I came across "Irrational Man." A movie written and directed by Allen.

Woody Allen is able to take terrible events in a person's life and turn them into a comedy. Crimes, deception, infidelity. Stuff like that!

I know that my blog is about travel and adventure. My blog is also about what I do. And I love to watch movies and sometimes to share those movies with you.

  1. If you want to be bald, why pay an expensive hair stylist to do it? Just get out your shaving supplies and shave your head!

    1. Hi Joe,

I changed my mind about getting a bald cut. Yesterday at Tina's [My haircut lady], I got my regular length haircut.

  2. George, Beach and I both needed haircuts for pictures in our passports for renewal. After all, we have to keep those pictures in our passports for ten years, so you might as well look good. He said the same thing about his hair and added that whatever he has left on his head, he might as well take good care of.

  3. I tried the bald cut last month. Had always been curious about the look. Kept it for 1 week. Too maintenance intense for me. Had to shave head at least every 3 days to keep the look. I encourage you to try it sometime just to get it off your mind. My hair grew back in 2-4 weeks. I did like the the look though, but too much work.

    1. Hi Ken,

I too decided not to go bald. I read on the net that it took too much work to maintain.

  4. When in 8th grade my friend and I challenged eachother to shave our heads for the last day of school. I showed up bald and have been shaving my head ever since. I shave it with a razor every other day and I spend less time shaving than most people do shampooing/conditioning/combing theirs.

    1. Hi Andrew,

Interesting! I figured that it would take more time to maintain a bald head.

    2. It takes about as long to shave my head as it does to shave my face. I never have to shampoo or comb it so in the end its way less maintenance in my eyes.

  5. Thanks for the movie link to a great site. I can't get past the fact that Woody Allen married one daughter & molested another, but it's a great site for lots of other movies ;)

    1. Hi Gypsy,

You are so welcome about that movie link!

I do not pay much attention to what I read in the news about celebrities.

  6. I can't agree more with both you and GypsySoul. Woody Allen personally is a screwed up human being, but he produces a lot of Oscar-winning movies demonstrating great talent. However, I would never hold him up as a role model for children and hope children would never see him as a role model.
