Doctor

11:30am:
I am expecting my Kaiser doctor to phone this morning. This is to talk with me about my high blood pressure reading from my May 10th appointment at Kaiser.

I am not sure how open I will be with my doctor about how I feel concerning prescription medication. I may just accept his prescription and then simply not take the medication. I do not wish to be confrontational with my primary care physician.

My experience with prescription medication has been disastrous! In June 2016 I had a great improvement in my health after going off all meds. I have not taken any meds since then.

2:40pm:
Call from my doc
While I was working out at 24 Hour Fitness, my doctor phoned to discuss my blood pressure situation.

After talking together about my blood pressure for a while, we came to an agreement that I would come in for a BP check about once a month before deciding on BP control medication.

  1. George,
I have owned an Omron Blood Pressure Monitor for 15++ years and carried it all over the country in my motorhome. It takes a couple of minutes per day to take your b/p and keeps a record of your readings. At our age now, it is a lot easier to just sit at the table and quickly take my b/p than it is to travel back and forth to a doctor's office.
Just a suggestion but in my humble opinion it's more than worth the cost.

  3. Every time my wife has her B/P checked in the doctor's office it reads very high. She now takes it herself every morning and records it in a book. For her once a year doctor visit, she takes her book along and the doctor is happy with that.

  4. My husband had a heart attack a year ago. He now takes CoQ10, Fish Oil, Vitamin C, D3, B12, B-Complex Time Release, and Magnesium daily. His BP is perfect now, his heart rate is perfect, and he is full of energy. His doctors are so impressed with his results of the vitamins and minerals that they are now recommending other patients to the same list. Something to consider. That CoQ10 is excellent for hearts, and well worth taking daily. Good Luck, life is worth living when one is happy and having fun camping!!!
