Things Are Different

9:20am:
Back in 2004 when I passed thru Riggins Idaho and then camped along the Salmon River, there were a whole lot fewer people than now. My Camp between the boulders overlooking the Salmon River was not occupied by a trailer permanently camped there.

Looking at MsTioga in 2004

In 2018 an old trailer is now camped in the
same place as MsTioga was camped in 2004

10:01am:
My Health
The 9:20am post above is not a complaint about my physical health. Presently at 80.5 years,  I have no aches or pains. None! I am so thankful for that!

I am now RVing again. When I was living at the Guava Gardens Senior Apartment House, I never even considered that I would one day be RVing again.

But here I am! Out searching for adventure once more.

The Scampy Team

10:00am:
Going North
The Scampy Team is going north on US 95. We passed over a ridge that looks down on the Town of Cottonwood. From this high point, Little iPhone captured a pic of a great expanse of farmland.

We may be traveling thru farmland the same as this as we move north.

Farms of Idaho

11:47am:
Historical Marker
We have made a Breakfast Camp off US 95 where there is a wayside marker.

Omelet with 2-eggs, sausage, cheese, onions,
matzoh, hot chocolate, rye toast

4:47pm:
Lewiston Idaho
We are Afternoon Camped on a Lewiston street next to an Albertson's grocery. Very little traffic here and the street is flat.

T-Mobile has a decent signal. It's a bit warm inside Scampy, 91℉. That temperature does not bother me. I have my T-shirt off. Baby Boid seems OK too.

    1. Carol and Bill,

I've always admired the way you are always on-the-go.

Mexico every year. Now Nevada ghost town. And you mentioned that later you are headed to Oregon!

And we are all about the same age.

  3. Hi George
If that is Cottonwood Idaho, That was my first Home in 1960 after I was married. There use to be a Air Force Radar Station there. And my first child was Born at St. Mary’s hospital there.
