8AM - Veterans Administration Camp.
MsTioga and The Team have made a Morning Camp at the Veterans Administration [VA] in Martinez, California. We have a VA contact provided yesterday by our friend Paul.

We got to thinking about the VA thru emails received from reader Bob De La Cruz who works at the VA in San Francisco. Thanks Bob!

9:30AM - VA approved!
George met with Jerry DeGuzman in the VA eligibility office. Jerry looked at the DD214 and discharge papers and then signed me up. I was VA approved!

In 2-3 weeks I will return to the VA for an appointment for a physical and to be assigned my primary physician.
VA Approved!

2:30PM - Mighty Sacramento River.
We were about to pull out of our VA Camp this afternoon, and head over to son David's home where we have volunteered to prepare Spicy Meat Loaf for supper. However, Little Mavicito first wanted to visit the Mighty Sacramento River!

Little Mavicito pointed out that although his grandfather, Mr. Sony Mavica, had been to the Sacramento River many times, that this would be his first time. Also, the river is soooooo close!

So, we continued north to the Martinez Marina.

6:30PM - They loved MsTioga's meat loaf!
Once again, MsTioga's spicy meat loaf was an outstanding success. Son David and Pedro loved the meat loaf. And so did George!
