7AM - Mr. Sunny wants new batteries!
This morning we were doing solar battery maintenance which includes watering and cleaning the battery bank. Mr. Sunny has noticed increasing corrosion at his battery terminals, which he feels is a sign that the batteries may need replacing before we enter Mexico.

Mr. Sunny points out that our batteries have served almost five years, and wonders; "How long should my batteries last?"

12:30PM - SatMex5.
Before we enter Mexico, we must change Mr. Datastorm's satellite to SatMex5. As you may know, we have run close to the southern footprint limit for our present satellite, Horizon One.

We will not be able to change over to SatMex5 until after the Thanksgiving weekend is over, this coming Monday. Until then, in order to be able to go online MsTioga and The Team will be searching for adventure by traveling northeast. This should keep us within the Horizon One footprint.

1PM - Camped in Town of Lakeside.
We have made a Camp in the Town of Lakeside. MsTioga is above the dry river bed of the San Diego River.
MsTioga above the now dry San Diego River.

4PM - Moved to quiet Camp.
We moved east a short distance looking for a quiet place for our Nite Camp. We found a dead end street that seemed perfect. There are a few large trucks parked near us, a good sign for a safe Camp.
