Pearl Harbor - December 7, 1941 - 66 years ago.

8AM - Readers wonder.
Where do RVers living in Slab City get their water? Is there a dump station? How about propane? And groceries?

When you come to live in Slab City, you'll be able to get water at the grocery store or at the gas station. You may fill your propane tank at the gas station too. There is a dump station at the fairgrounds in Niland [$3 fee].

Little Mavicito and MsTioga want to go into the Town of Niland this morning and look at these places.

9:30AM - Looking at the Town of Niland.
MsTioga parked near the grocery in Niland and went inside the store to shop. We found a nice cross rib roast for only $2.39/pound and bought it! Behind the grocery, we found the hose bibb for RVs to fill their water tanks.

Next we went to the fairgrounds, and dumped MsTioga's holding tanks. The fee for dumping has gone up to $5. There is fresh water available here too.

12 Noon - City of El Centro.
MsTioga headed south out of the Town of Niland. We are now in the City of El Centro, California, very close to the border of Mexico. We will not be crossing the border yet.

5:30PM - Nite Camped under a stormy sky.
MsTioga and The Team are Nite Camped on the eastern side of the City of El Centro. The afternoon has been quite windy, threatening a storm. And the sky has a tornado shape.
