Traveling by Amtrak Train is nice.
Have you ever traveled on Amtrak? Besides being pretty inexpensive, the train route from the City of Martinez to Santa Barbara is beautiful. The hills alongside the Amtrak route are gorgeous green at this time of year. Sometimes we traveled next to the Pacific Ocean.

There is a dining car for full meals. And a cafe for sandwiches and snacks. One car has huge windows and a glass ceiling for simply looking at the scenery passing by.

Aunt Shirley and Uncle Seymour.
My train arrived in Santa Barbara at 6:40pm. Uncle Seymour picked me up in his little sports car. Aunt Shirley prepared a delicious supper. Turkey meat loaf, roast potatoes, sauteed veggies and tossed salad. Supper was sooooooo good.

I showed Shirley and Seymour my new tiny iPod Touch. While I was demonstrating the iPod for them, I brought up the wireless scanner and was surprised to see that they have a wireless network. When I mentioned their wireless network, it turned out that they did not even know that they had one!

I am using their network right now to type this post to you!
