MsTioga and The Team are heading north to the Pueblo of Bernal. We are going there especially for the gorditas that are made from black corn. This is the second time we have been to Bernal, which is a pueblo famous for its huge monolithic rock.

A gordita is a thick corn tortilla that is split and filled with a variety of delicious foods. I like my gordita tortillas to be crispy.

1PM - Doña Cocos.
MsTioga found a place for her Camp on the main street of Pueblo Bernal. Then Little Mavicita and I walked up the hill where Doña Cocos Gordita restaurant is located.

Doña Cocos is a simple place. Four walls of very thick old painted brick and a corrugated steel roof. But Doña Cocos is the most popular restaurant in Bernal. People come from all over Mexico and know about this restaurant.

I ate three gorditas. One filled with mushrooms, one with nopales [a cactus] and one with carnes adobada [beef].
My black corn gorditas.

The kitchen.

I am unable to reach any blog including my own blog. Instead receive a "We're sorry...... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now."

Very strange!

4:30PM - Blogger attack stopped?
Just now I tried to view my blog, and got access immediately. I am guessing that Google figured out how to stop the attack OR the attack stopped on its own.

Makes me wonder just how vulnerable is the internet. The internet upon which I am sooooooo addicted!
