7AM - Observations
Yesterday afternoon MsTioga had to search for shady places to make her Camp.  We moved a few times as the shade changed, in order to stay out of the sunshine.  I'm not sure if high temperatures are because of the time of year, or because we are in the desert.  But most of the afternoon the temperature in the City of Navojoa was in the mid 90s°F.  We on the TiogaRV Team are sort of used to high temps, so were not bothered too much.

During the early evening I took a walk around the commercial neighborhood near our Camp.  I bought a strawberry ice cream cone, and while licking it, observed what was going on.  I was a bit surprised to observe how well off are the people!  Many really nice looking new cars.  Cadillacs, BMWs, Mercedes.  This morning as we drove the first leg of today's journey to Ciudad Obregon, we noticed that the big rig trucks along the highway are also mostly new.  And there are lots of trucks too.  Business seems to be really good in this part of Mexico.  The streets of Novojoa and Ciudad Obregon are wide, and paved.  Lots of really nice looking homes!

10AM - Sharing feelings
I want you to know that I am feeling much better today. I just received 64 emails from Readers. Many of whom shared that they also have gone thru difficult emotional times in their lives. These email arrived with about 200 spam emails, which I must go thru and delete.

Don't you just hate spam?

5PM - All the way to Hermosillo!
Readers write to me about how I usually travel short distances between Nite Camps, but have been driving much further lately.  I used to travel perhaps 30 miles, then make a Camp.  Today I traveled over 200 miles!

This is desert country, and much different than other parts of Mexico.  Today I did not see even one pueblo between Guaymas and Hermosillo.  No place to stop even if I wanted to make a Camp.

Is this Mexico or the USA?
As we were passing thru the City of Guaymas, Little Mavicita captured a pic which we would like to share with you.  We have expanded this pic a lot, so that you would be able to zoom closer at the details.

In this pic is a Ford dealer, Burger King, Dairy Queen, McDonald's, AutoZone.  Is this Mexico or the USA?
